Christian O. Lodde was born in 1979 in Kiel Germany to Ellen Margrete Lodde (Andersen) of Norway and Dirk Lodde of Germany, and lived in Germany until 6 years of age. In 1986 he moved, together with his mother Ellen and sister Anna to the family home in Lillestrøm Norway where he grew up. At the age of 10 he moved together with his mother to the island of Crete in Greece and lived in several small villages in the foothills surrounding the Minoan palace-ruins “Phaistos”. After a year in Greece they returned to Norway where he finished up high school. |
In 1998 Christian came to Alabama as an exchange student. After ending up with great host-parents and having a great experience in the US, Christian decided to complete his college education at Auburn University from where he graduated in the top ten percent of his class in 2003. Shortly thereafter he met his wife Melissa Lodde (Tubbs) and they were married in late 2004. In 2005 Christian was hired into the ITLDP (IT Leadership Development Program) at Siemens, where he gained experience through four six-month rotations in different areas of IT, cross functional projects, as well as targeted leadership training. Since then he has held various IT roles and is today working as the Divisional IT Demand Manager supporting the Sales Division of Siemens Industry Inc.
Christian and his wife Melissa have two boys, Jackson (Sept. 2007) and Connor (Sept. 2009) and they enjoy spending time together at the beaches and parks surrounding Lake Lanier, going to North Point Community Church, and spending time with family and friends. His interests include playing guitar, personal development, cutting edge technologies, languages, and motor cycles.
Christian started the ITLDP Alumni group which focuses on learning and networking in 2010, and most recently joined SAFG as the Secretary of the Board in June 2011.
