Scandinavian American Foundation of Georgia, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the exchange of educational, cultural and amateur athletic endeavors between the countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the State of Georgia.

Tuula Becker, Webmaster

Tuula is a native Finn, earned her Science Degree from Helsinki University. After working few years in Helsinki for Nokia Electronics as a Systems Analyst/Programmer, she was transferred to Atlanta Office for a 4 year contract. She married Terry Becker, an American Engineer from GA Tech and has lived in Atlanta area ever since, about 30 years. Tuula also became a US Citizen. They have one son Jari, who studied Finance at GA Tech.

Last 11 years of her software developer career she was specialized in Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) Software. Tuula was working with a multinational group of people from Spain, France, UK, NL and New Zeeland. Since year 2008 she has been working for her husband’s Home Automation Business as an Executive Assistant.

Tuula has always been an active member in the Finnish American and Scandinavian Organizations. She has been several years a Finnews Editor, Webmaster and a Secretary. Tuula likes to keep all Atlanta area Finns and other Scandinavians connected and share the latest news and events online.

Tuula also likes to travel all over the world and meet people from different cultures. Her favorite TV program is Samantha Brown on TRAVEL Channel. She has also become passionate about Nutrition and Healthy Cooking, paired with a glass of good wine.
